Swimage Differentiators

Swimage’s patented automated processes make endpoint management simple and efficient, while still being highly customizable for your company’s environment. Our differentiators include the ability to maintain encryption during imaging, snapshot and rollback capabilities, and offline deployment methods.

Encryption Handler

The Swimage Encryption Handler detects a PC’s current encryption type and migrates all necessary encryption components into the new OS automatically. Encrypt a PC once and leave it encrypted forever, no matter how often it is imaged.

Offline Deployment Method

Swimage provides a unique and very robust method for handling any type of deployment, even for those employees who have poor or no network connection. The Swimage ODM process builds all of the necessary deployment components.

DataProtect Snapshot

Never worry about losing data again. The Swimage DataProtect Snapshot will protect the entire file system on the drive prior to the migration. This makes it possible to recover any data loss that may have occurred during the migration.

DataProtect Rollback

If a migration ever fails, roll it back to the beginning using Swimage DataProtect Rollback. When combined with the Snapshot, the Rollback allows for the PC to be rolled back to the starting point in about 3 minutes, providing a migration safety-net.

Remote Connection Manager

Remote users can now deploy from anywhere using the Swimage Remote Connection Manager. This tool detects when a VPN tunnel is required and automatically establishes a secure tunnel on demand during the deployment.

Pre-Deployment Validator

Ensure all pre-deployment tasks are completed before the migration begins. The Swimage Pre-Deployment Validator checks hardware compatibility, application compatibility, encryption compatibility, and general health of the PC.

Swimage Splashlock

Keep the PC locked and secure throughout the entire migration process. Swimage Splashlock locks the mouse and keyboard, preventing any unauthorized access, while still providing status information to the user about the progress.

Driver Interrogator

The Swimage Driver Interrogator organizes and imports drivers. It is designed with a single-source technology, which ensures that no drivers are duplicated.  Swimage (which creates a driver agnostic universal image) injects these drivers on-the-fly when a PC is deployed.

PC Provisioning Engine

PC provisioning is defining how a PC will be deployed. The Swimage PC Provisioning Engine ensures that the PC has the components needed when complete, provides flexibility to handle any provisioning scenario, and simplifies the provisioning process.

Direct Data Transfer

With Swimage Direct Data Transfer, all data and settings can be migrated directly from one PC to another in record time by simply using an Ethernet cable, network, or Wi-Fi. This process is simple enough that even the end-user can do it themselves.

Swimage Conductor

The Swimage Conductor is the engine that drives the deployment. It is resilient and unbreakable. Even a power failure midway will not cause the deployment to fail. Simply recover the power and the Conductor will continue the deployment from where it left off.

Realtime Dashboard

The Swimage Realtime Dashboard is a web console which displays all active deployments as they occur. Technicians may interact with the deploying PCs from the dashboard in order to send commands, collect information, or to troubleshoot.

Post Deployment Actions

Once the deployment is complete and the employee logs in for the first time, Swimage will launch the post deployment tool. This tool is optional, but is very useful when you wish to give the employee control over some of the final configurations.

Deployment Activity Report

Swimage activity reports are available immediately following deployments. Detailed information, including success criteria, is available for each deployment. Summary reports may also be generated for asset management and/or management review.

Swimage Portal

The Swimage Portal provides access to all that is needed to manage and configure Swimage. It can be installed on premise, on a private cloud, or on the public cloud. The installation is specific to your organization and is controlled by your Active Directory.
