01.22.2007      Intrinsic and Network Equipment Technologies Announce Strategic Alliance Enabling Communications Convergence

Fremont, CA - January 22, 2007 - Industry pioneer Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:NWK) and Intrinsic Technologies, LLC., a premier provider of Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions, announced today a technology and co-marketing partnership to enable integration between NET's VX Series Universal Voice Exchange (TM) products and Intrinsic's unified communications solutions. Intrinsic will provide services that will enable the integration of NET's VX Series and Microsoft's unified communications and unified messaging solutions.

Customers deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 with NET's VX Series can interoperate between legacy PBX and IP-PBX environments, supporting migration to unified messaging and unified communications. NET's VX series, a next generation solution for delivering integrated, secure communications with enhanced mobility, provides Intrinsic a powerful, cost-effective solution for enabling voice network evolution for its customers.
