02.15.2008 Intrinsic Announces the Anticipated Release of SWIMAGE® Encore
Chicago, IL – February 15, 2008 – Intrinsic Technologies, a premier Microsoft technology service
provider, announced today that it has released the newest version of SWIMAGE; their zero-touch
automated deployment solution, called Encore.
SWIMAGE Encore will simplify device migrations by automating the common and highly manual tasks
associated with operating system deployments. An automated deployment equals substantial cost
savings for organizations. There are fewer resources required to monitor and support the actual
deployment effort. SWIMAGE reduces the amount of effort, time and cost of the migration and creates a
consistent and reliable environment.
"We are excited to be announcing the latest release of SWIMAGE called Encore," said Derek Fournier,
Director of Product Development, "The decision to build our new offering on top of the Windows
SharePoint Services foundation and to implement fully featured workflow should lead to a new level in
usability for a deployment framework. Making the promise of true Zero Touch deployment something
that can be achieved by any technology group is something we are all very excited about."
SWIMAGE Encore’s core features:
- Driver Interrogator™ ensures proper discover & delivery of essential hardware and software
drivers
- Conductor™ coordinates client-side deployment actions in either connected and disconnected
modes
- Dynamic Logic – a business logic layer allows for dynamic task creation, tracking, and
adjustment
- Business Scorecard style reporting on the end-to-end deployment process allows for
comprehensive tracking of the deployment process
- T-Scheduler™ automates and maintains consistent communication patterns for various
deployment activities
"SWIMAGE Encore represents over a decade of engineering effort to simplify the deployment process.
Whether the deployment task involves Microsoft XP, Vista or Server, the complexities and risks
typically associated with deployments has virtually been eliminated with SWIMAGE Encore," said Kyle
Haroldsen, Director of Infrastructure Technology, "SWIMAGE Encore continues to revolutionize how
deployments are handled, and we are excited to be at the forefront."
