Chicago, IL – May 15, 2008 – Intrinsic Technologies, a Microsoft National Systems Integrator and Gold Certified Partner, announced today that it has achieved the requirements needed for two more competencies in the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Program which brings Intrinsic’s number of earned competencies to seven. In addition to the new competencies, Intrinsic added the Database Management Specialization under the Data Management Solution, Portals & Collaboration Specialization under the Information Worker Solutions and Identity & Secure Access Specialization under the Security Solutions.

"Achieving the various Microsoft competencies all starts with the consultant in the field. Passed exams lead to certifications for our consultants. These certifications in turn provide the foundation of concepts and knowledge that allow our consultants to gain experience in the field. Experience leads to references which eventually lead to specializations and competencies," said Al Batson, Chief Operation Officer for Intrinsic. "The Microsoft accreditation framework, from passed exams to technical competencies, raises the standards to which we are all measured ensuring quality services to our customers."

Achieving a Microsoft Competency requires customer references and individual certifications. The Business Process and Integration Competency cover the implementation and deployment of business process applications featuring: Enterprise Application Integrations, Business-to-Business application integration, Business Process Management Solutions and Adapter Development. This competency focuses on BizTalk Server and Microsoft Host Integration Server. The Database Management Competency is a proven competency in complete end-to-end data management reporting and analysis solutions to help improve an organizations success. This competency focuses on SQL Server technology.

"Adding specializations to our achieved competencies is another way that we are dedicated to broadening our depth and knowledge in the Microsoft Partner Program and being able to offer our customers a full range of solutions," said April Balsamo, Marketing & Alliances Manager for Intrinsic. "We are very excited that we have the Portals & Collaboration Specialization. It puts Intrinsic in a great position to benefit from this growing market."
