Intrinsic Announced as a Microsoft Application Compatibility Factory Partner
Chicago, IL – May 7, 2009 – Intrinsic Technologies, a Microsoft National System Integrator and Gold Certified Partner, is excited to announce that they are now an official Microsoft Application Compatibility Factory Partner.
Microsoft created the Application Compatibility Factory (ACF). This was created to help their customers remediate applications that were critical to their specific business. The overall goal of ACF is to reduce application compatibility needs and help customers resolve issues that may occur when upgrading to Windows 7.
ACF is a successful program comprised of global and local partners who are trained in the latest Microsoft technologies and trained to recognize their customer needs. Microsoft’s ACF partners are knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to helping customers attain their specific goals.
The ACF Program is a 5-day engagement with a customer, paid for by Microsoft. As part of the 5-day engagement, Intrinsic will:
· Engage with your business and review your custom business applications
· Conduct a 1-day training session with an IT staff member that will cover tools, processes, criteria, and best practices for migrating existing applications to Windows 7
· Successfully remediate the critical business applications to the new platform
· Compile an initial plan that will work with your business needs
“As organizations make the decision to move to any new Operating System, Application Compatibility Testing equates to the largest financial and time costs of that decision. Microsoft’s decision to help fund the Application Compatibility Factory initiatives shows their firm commitment to their customer’s deployment success,” said Kerry Lebel, Practice Manager for Lifecycle Infrastructure at Intrinsic, “We at Intrinsic are excited to have a strong, experienced consulting force with years of experience in the deployment space and look forward to helping people prepared for the migration to Windows 7 and beyond. Our goal is to utilize the Microsoft ACF and our team’s experience to make the migration process as smooth as possible.”
